FAQS
Once you have completed the procedure, you can slowly witness hair growth right from the 3rd month. Don’t panic if you notice falling hair because it is just a part of the hair growth cycle.
Scientifically body hair can be implanted on the scalp. But from an aesthetic viewpoint, body hairs are relatively supple and thin. In addition, body hairs do not help cover the frontal hairline.
There are other treatment options, although they usually provide little more than limited density restoration.
Yes, hair removed from the safe donor area regions in the back and on the sides of the scalp is genetically programmed to continue growing over the course of a lifetime without being affected by pattern baldness. The transplanted hair will continue to grow for life as long as the donor's hair remains vigorous and viable.
Creating a completely natural hairline is the most important aspect of the surgery. We meticulously plan each hair transplant to provide the most natural hairline possible. Patients who qualify for hair replacement surgery can achieve remarkably natural results.
The donor is a particular region where the hairs do not have a point of attraction. DHT is a male sex hormone responsible for baldness, especially for the miniaturisation of follicles. This effect is not present in hair extracted from the donor region. Hair removed from the donor region is considered healthy and not subjected to thinning.
No complications are expected if the vitals and other parameters like pre-operative instructions are appropriately maintained.
Medications for donor healing and hair stimulation are necessary post-implantation but only for a limited period.
Since the follicles are just implanted, an adequate amount of aeration is required, and even the donor area requires aeration. So it is better to avoid wearing it.
As we are not using any blades and the punches are so delicate, it takes only two days to heal the donor and the implanted area. But the extra skin attached to the implanted hair takes almost 10 days for shedding, after which it looks like a normal tiny hair
In FUE, they use bigger punches which take a long time for healing and forms a scare. In AFT, we use punches the same as the diameter of the hair, so it heals without scarring and also, we are using PRP and Stem cells to grow the extracted hairs.

The number of sessions depends upon the amount of baldness and donor density.
Yes. We harvest hairs from the chest and shoulders if you don’t have a suitable scalp donor.
For the vast majority of patients, virtually all transplanted hair lasts a lifetime. In some cases, a small percentage of transplanted hair may be lost as the patient ages.
We give local anaesthesia and other medications to control pain. AFT is a minimally invasive procedure performed in a unique and safe technique. High precision extraction implantation tools reduce pain to an average extent.
As we don’t use blades, there will be no scars formation either on your front or on your back.
Complications are very rare if you follow the post-operative instructions correctly.
The exact amount of hair can only be decided with our surgeon after consultation.
Yes, the whole procedure is performed by our experienced doctors.
You can go for AFT even if you have a medical condition, but our surgical team will help you with preoperative test and modifications of the treatment plan.
Initially, for 5 days, you will be provided with antibiotics and pain killers to help in better healing, and after that, depending upon your androgenic hairs present, medicines will be given.
It depends upon the number of hairs you need. The time ranges from 5-8 hours.
Any regular hair activity like cutting and colouring your hair can be done after a month.
The appearance of tiny dots is typically up to 10 days. After that, when the shedding of scab tissue happens, it will look normal, like a shaved head.
No. Remember, we redistribute the healthy, thick hair from other parts of the body and fill on the bald area in transplantation. It does not create new hair, and hence we don’t promise a head full of hair. But with our unique technique, a camouflage or illusion of fullness will be visible even though we place few hairs.
It takes almost 6-9 months for newly implanted hair to grow to its full potential.
We use the latest technology in India, including PRP and stem cells, to grow your donor and native hairs. We prefer a safety approach; thus, we use disposable punches and implanters, which are destroyed after each case.
