At VCare, we understand the everyday struggle of cancer patients. As much as we empathise with them, we also want to do something to help them. So, we started an initiative - ‘Hair Donation For Cancer Patients’.
Hair from the donors will be collected and made into natural hair-like wigs through our Cosmetic Hair Replacement technique. These wigs will be handed over to cancer patients free of cost.
Cancer patients tend to lose a lot of hair while undergoing chemotherapy. This, in turn, makes them lose their confidence and adds to their worries.
Cosmetic Hair Replacement is where we aim to make the life of every Cancer patient a little easier.
We are delighted to say that we have made the life of about 11 beautiful cancer survivors a little easier over the years. The healthy and thick locks of hair donated by our amazing hair donors were made into comfortable hair-like wigs and distributed to these pretty people down here.

Beautiful Cancer Survivors
How do we do it?
- We take the step by first collecting the hair from the generous hair donors out there. Then we take the time to prepare it into a beautiful wig that would be suitable and liked by cancer patients.
- The wig is then distributed free of cost to Cancer patients who require it.
- By doing this, men and women who tend to enjoy having nourished hair once get to enjoy it once again.

- You can start by contacting us and then make/enquire about hair donation.
- Spread awareness among your friends and family about the initiation.
- Provide our contact details for patients/caregivers to reach out to us for any queries regarding the availability of wigs.

To Donate Hair:
- Thoroughly wash your hair
- Secure the hair with a hairband
- Secure the end with another hairband
- Make sure your hair is a minimum of 12-15 inches
- Cut and Pack it in a bag
