1. Does transplanted hair fall out?

Hair fall after transplantation is common during a particular phase. The transplanted hair will stay for a lifetime. The follicle and a small hair shaft are transplanted from the donor to the bald region. But the visible hair shaft falls within 3-4 months. It’s completely normal, as it’s a part of the growth cycle. This falling phase is nothing but shock loss. The shock loss occurs due to the trauma created on the hair follicle during hair transplantation. Generally, any hair, especially the shaft, falls out once in 2.5 to 3 years when the anagen phase completes. However, new hair grows from the hair follicle, which will have 2.5 to 3 years

Yes. Our hair follicles contain some of the most active cells in the body. And it will require a continuous supply of nutrients, oxygen and other similar essentials. When stressed, the hormone fluctuation will constrict the blood supply to the hair follicles, causing more hair to fall off and restricting new hair growth.

10. Is there a diet to stop hair fall?

Eating a balanced diet, say a diet rich in protein and low in carbohydrates and avoiding sugary foods and junk foods will help stop hair concerns and initiate good hair growth. Some foods can be eggs, fatty fish, green leafy vegetables, nuts, good protein, etc. But if the hair fall issue persists, it is best to follow the diet chart that the trichologists provide.

11. Can you get premature greying reverse?

It is not possible to reverse premature greying, but it is possible to save the existing hair from greying. Dietary and supplements will help stop the spread of the existing black hair.
