Pits & Scars

To improve Skin Texture And Complexion.

Microdermabrasion is one of the most popular, non-invasive cosmetic procedures performed today. The skin is instantly rejuvenated by means of mechanical skin exfoliation without the use of chemicals or lasers and it is virtually painless. It offers a modern and effective alternative to chemical and laser peels and can be combined with other treatments to help achieve the desired results.

It is most commonly used to treat the face and neck and immediately restores smoother looking skin and reduces the appearance of superficial wrinkles and scars, sun damage, large pores, acne and age spots.

Diamond microdermabrasion is a holistic option for modern skin care and is suitable for all skin types. It takes a simple approach to impart healthier, younger-looking skin to women and men across different age groups. Microdermabrasion is a gentle method of exfoliating the skin's surface with natural Diamond Head. Safe and effective, it loosens dead skin cells and clogged pores by enabling a controlled removal of epidermal layers at varying depths with virtually no side effects. It helps diminish the appearance of acne, fine lines, hyper pigmentation (dark spots) and sun damage. Simultaneously, it induces collagen stimulation and promotes the production of new cells in the basal (deepest) layer of the dermis to give the skin an overall healthy-looking, radiant glow.

Skin needling, also called Micro-Needlingtherapy, collagen induction therapy (CIT), and percutaneous collagen induction (PCI), is a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device that contains fine needles. The needles are used to puncture the skin to create a controlled skin injury. The device contains 12 very fine needles.

It is used during micro-needling procedures to break down old scar tissue and push skin cell generation. Cell production leads to the creation of new layers of elastin and collagen fibre and leads to improved blood flow in the skin.
The device slides along the skin and penetrates upper layers of the skin to a depth of up to 2mm to create tiny needle wounds. This signals the body to respond by producing collagen and elastin fibres. As a result, the skin becomes fuller, thus reducing the appearance of scars, lines, and wrinkles.

Some of the conditions that Medical Micro-needling is known to improve include: mild to moderate acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, skin texture and pore size, and stretch marks

Most people will notice redness and mild swelling similar to slight sunburn for 24–48 hours and there may be slight pinpoint bleeding and/or bruising. Skin will be noticeably smoother and more radiant within a week or two. Full results will take a few months to appear.

It begins with cleaning and numbing the skin. A collagen-stimulating product, Vitamin C serum, and/or skin lightener is also used. A small pen with 12 tiny needles is used to create tiny wounds in the skin. The speed and adjustability of the needles allows for more effective piercing and absorption of skin products. Vitamin-C serum or Hyaluronic acid is used after the procedure to hydrate, heal and protect the skin.

Inflammation of the skin is very temporary and reduces greatly within a few hours. It may remain slightly pink for up to 48 hours after treatment. Using hyaluronic acid after the procedure can help reduce inflammation and sunscreen can be used to protect the skin. Makeup use should be limited to minimal makeup.

Some of the known benefits of Medical Micro-needling include: greatly improved topical cream effectiveness and penetration, stimulates blood circulation and collagen production, needles are non-allergenic and cost effective compared to other resurfacing procedures, works on all skin types, and can treat the scalp, face, and body, including skin around the eyes, mouth and neck.

Medical Micro-needling is known to improve many aspects of the skin including, but not limited to: improves skin texture and reduces the appearance of wrinkles, regenerates tissue, improves the appearance of scars, reduces the size of pores, and reduces the appearance of stretch marks
